Deluge and Metrotwit not getting on (Unresponsive buttons)

Got the strangest issue here, I started using Metrotwit as old Tweetdeck got killed off earlier this week. But whenever Metrotwit is open or active in the background the buttons in Deluge tend to get non-responsive.

To reproduce this (while Metrotwit is open), switch between torrents in the list and try to click Pause / Resume buttons - they're un-clickable until I minimize/maximize Deluge. But they become un-clickable again when switching to another torrent in the list.

Close Metrotwit and the buttons are responsive 100% of the time. No idea why this is happening, Metrotwit is programmed in .NET and Deluge is GTK I believe? So no reason to clash?
