I'm totally stumped on this one. I have two Ubuntu machines (12.04 and 13.04) on two different networks. One is running deluged and the web ui, the other is just using the deluge client from the Ubuntu software center. Both version 1.3.6.
No matter what torrent I try to download, deluge times out trying to contact the trackers.
On both networks, I've used the nc command to confirm that the tracker is accepting UDP connections on the same port. So it's really just a problem with Deluge, or one of its underlying libraries.
Does anyone have any ideas, or advice for troubleshooting?
Cannot reach any trackers on Ubuntu
Re: Cannot reach any trackers on Ubuntu
Never mind, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I think it was just the particular trackers I was using (pirate bay, checkmytorrentip, among others). I was able to download an official Ubuntu ISO just fine.
