I use Deluge in Windows 8. I'm fairly tech-savy, I don't get a brainfreeze when I see an error window, but I'm not exactly "a computers guy". I do like to keep my desktop and explorer clean and eye-pleasing. Deluge looks very nice and simple, but I feel like it would be nice to have a bit more of a choice on the appearance. I know Linux users can customize Deluge with GTK themes, but doing that on Windows seems more complicated (and apparently dangerous to the program).
What I'm suggesting - because I don't have nearly the knowledge to develop something like this - is the creation of a plugin that lets Windows users use GTK themes or themes just for Deluge. Every other client I've tried (Vuze, uTorrent, the awesome qBittorrent) doesn't let you customize anything beyond the buttons, and this is a point where Deluge could really get a bit ahead. I know it's an unimportant feature, most people minimize their clients to the system tray, but I think it's a good idea if anyone had the free time.

[Suggestion] Skins plugin
Re: [Suggestion] Skins plugin
There is nothing too complicated about changing Deluge theme. I have been intending to write a wiki page but see this post in meantime: http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... =8&t=43637
Re: [Suggestion] Skins plugin
On Linux so that other post is not helpful in my case. is there a way to know where deluge gets the info to draw the progressbar color? All of my other applications' progressbars look the same except for deluge, which draws white progress bars with white background and white text. This is making deluge frustrating to use.
