I have been having a very strange issue recently. The torrent in question (~35GB in size) was downloading properly until around 87%. At that point, the torrent would continually crash. After some tinkering, I found a few consistent issues:
- If I pause, then unpause the torrent (without restarting Deluge), it will connect to other peers, but not seeds (it will upload, but not download).
- If I close, then open Deluge, it will download for about 10 seconds, then downloading will fail. It will continue to seed, though.
- Occasionally, Deluge will change the torrent state from "Downloading" to "Error".
I'm utterly mystified by what's transpiring. One note: after constantly restarting Deluge to try to connect, it managed to download properly for another 8% or so. I don't know why this would be, though...
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Torrent constantly crashing
Re: Torrent constantly crashing
Do you mean stopping rather than 'crash' as the latter is a more serious issue and affects the whole application.
Have you rechecked the torrent?

Sorry, I meant stopping. Well, "stopping", as it would still seed to others. It would see seeders to connect to, but it wouldn't connect to them.
- "Have you rechecked the torrent?"
I removed the torrent from the queue, re-downloaded it, and tried it again. It discovered what I already had downloaded, but didn't fix anything.
