Can I limit uploading speed per peer?

Hi guys

I'm a newbie here. Tried to read some topic but still don't get it.

This is my concern. I joined some private trackers, which hard to maintain good ratio. I uploaded some torrents, but my upload speed is quite slow, and my peer's upload speed is so fast. When they finished download from me, I can't compete with them.

So my idea is how can I allow many peers connect to me, but can limit their downloading speed, so I can speed for longer. Can someone explain for me how to config my preferences to do that. Which preferences I need to care the most?

There is no per-peer option but you can limit upload speed per torrent if that helps.

What I don't understand is how one peer have faster downloading speed than one another. My seeding speed is slow, about 50KB/s and have 5 peers on a torrent, But one have ~30KB/s downloading speed. I think any line connection can have downloading speed greater than 50KB/s.

Can you explain for me?
