Keeping torrents from creating a subfolder

I know there is a term, and I want to call it recursive folders, but I'm not sure if I'm correct.

When I add a torrent, I pick a base folder like DOWNLOADS; is there an option to keep the torrent from creating a folder within said DOWNLOADS folder?

I know it's a nitpicky detail, but it reduces a lot of clutter when most downloads are single files, 2-3 folders deep. Thanks!

You can but has to be done manually in Files Tab by renaming the top level folder to either empty or slash. Could possibly be scripted too with the Execute plugin but might be a bit complex.
