Difficult to say, did you change the cache settings?

Also are you running the latest version of Deluge (1.3.5)?

I also hv this problem with Windows Server 2008 (tested with 1.3.4 & 1.3.5).
I honestly didnt change any of its default setting.

It can consume up to 400K memory then it will terminated by itself. (also with 1 active torrent)

When I googled this error, it only links me back to old thread from 2008.
My question, has this been problem been solved in newer version of windows Deluge?

Another question, how to enable logging in windows? thanks!

I tried running manually with daemon manager.
This is the result before crashing in the same way.

Which process crashes? How many torrents have you got?

If you are running Deluge in thinclient mode (i.e. classic mode off) and deluge.exe is using a lot of memory then it could be a problem with gtk on windows but its difficult to say unless it can be replicated.

If you looked at my previous post, I first tried with default setting (classic system on). Same huge memory & eventually terminated.
In classic system off, the same pop up (Microsoft Visual C++; This app has requested the runtime to...) will show. Deluge went not responding, so I end the process (deluge.exe & deluged) via taskmanager.

Both with 1 active torrent.

In Windows, is there a way for me to provide an error log?

If its a problem with GTKUI, can I re-install it? I can't find the gtk runtime folder.

I just find this thread (recently made) possibly discussing the same error.

It wont be both processes failing so instead of just killing both you need to work out which one it is, deluge.exe or deluged.exe and it is likely to be the former based upon ram usage. If you kill just deluge.exe you should be able to run deluge again and reconnect to deluged.

The latest gtk runtime (2.24.10) is now bundled with Deluge 1.3.5 so reinstalling Deluge is one option however is likely to have no effect. Unfortunately this is not a deluge issue so a debug log is useless here and there is limited help we can provide.

Actually I just killed deluge.exe, yes I can always start again deluge.exe. But then 15-20 mins later it will terminate again.

Hv you figured out what are the actual issue?

Too bad, it looks like this problem will be forever on.

So, I saw that bug ticket regarding this issue has been updated that according to Cas major issues has been fixed in gtk 2.24.14.

However, this issue only happens to some users. If this is issue with gtk, since gtk 2.24.14 has not been packaged in Windows, shouldn't the problem apply to all windows users?
I use other PC with the exact same OS and deluge version & similar specs as well.
Deluge is running perfectly, with no memory leak at all. (in normal/classic mode).

Someone pls enlighten me, as I hv limited knowledge. Anyway, I love deluge.
