Maximize and Open Folder Issues

Post by skrech »

Hi,
I want to report a bug and to suggest something.

Firstly, when minimizing deluge in the system tray, with "minimize in system tray on close" ticked in preferences, on Windows 7 x64 and then maximize, it doesn't maximize. If I click to minimize once more and then expand again, then it maximizes. Very annoying.

Secondly, is there a possibility the "Open Folder" command to open the folder containing the files, not the location of that folder.

So nobody gets the weird window re-sizing problem?

Someone else reported the same minimise issue recently and I replied to that. It is a gtk bug so will have to wait for upstream fix.

I think there is a ticket for the open folder issue.

I've searched the forum and the bug tracker before posting this topic, but anyway - sorry for the dublicate.

Is there a possible solution for the second "problem":
Secondly, is there a possibility the "Open Folder" command to open the folder containing the files, not the location of that folder.
It's tedious to find something that you've downloaded when all the incoming content goes in a single folder (e.g. the default download location).

Yer I understand the issue, create a new ticket and I will look into it.

You can select the torrent and then open the folder from the 'Files' tab. About the current functionality, I think it should remain as it is, but after opening the folder it should select the folder containing the files. I guess that must be possible with GTK.

The maximize issue now has a ticket and I have reported upstream to gtk: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/ticket/2102
