Errno 22 when using URL

I'm getting the following error whenever I try
to download something using a URL

[Errno 22] invalid mode ('wb') or filename: 'c:\\users\\colin\\appdata\\local\\temp\\big+bang+theory?tab=summary'

I have committed a lot of fixes recently to git for the next release and think this is covered by them.
