Create torrent crash

I've been using Deluge on Ubuntu 11.10 (and 11.04 prior), after switching from Bittorrent on a Windows computer. I've had no problems downloading or uploading, and even no problems with a few plugins. But for the first time since using Deluge I went to create a torrent. It was a simple folder with only a few files, I had the proper tracker filled out. When I clicked to save it Deluge just disappeared in the blink of an eye. I tried it again several times and it crashed again immediately. Once I managed to see a status bar (I'm not sure it made it 50% complete), but it still crashed and still no torrent. Any help would be greatly appreciated (and bear in mind I'm still sort of a beginner/intermediate Ubuntu user).

I think you may be experiencing this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/857634

It only seems to affect a handful of people and since it is not within our code it not something we can fix, other that disabling the progress bar.
