iptables

Hi,

I need some help setting up iptables for my server, what I have done is blocked all ports except for the ones I use (http, ftp etc).

The problem is that torrents in deluge wont announce, I get this message when trying to update the tracker:

Host not found (non-authoritative), try again later

The rules that I am using are not allowing torrents to announce, is their an announce port that I need to allow?

Any help would be appreciated!

If you look at the google results for this issue they all point to a DNS problem, so have you tried creating a rule for that?
