Crashes, Close Ports, Status 7 ~1.3.1

Post by sugi »

My deluge-gtk is causing so much problems.
  • The first problem is when I go to close it down, it grays out and crashes, while never recovering from this. I have tried waiting, kill id, then I have to finally kill it with kill -9.
  • Next problem is, my ports does not work anymore. I have tried to pick my own ports and also tried random ports. I have done port forward and nothing ever changes. When I click on test port, I get this triangle form with this inside " ! ". Though, my tracker is reporting I am still seeding, but no in or out traffic is happening.
  • I am still getting this status "7", when I first open Deluge. Pausing them and resuming them fixes it, but it is sending unwanted data to my tracker, also reporting I am redownloading some and bits of my torrents I have already finished and seeding. I have tried to completely uninstalling it and reinstall it, but still the same problems are present.
  • Also, I am getting this status "Error" on some of my torrents, the error reads as this "Error: connection timed out", but the number of error torrents keeps changing.
Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick
Deluge-gtk 1.3.2 [Just updated to 1.3.2, but still the same issues occur]
Deluge-gtk 1.3.1

Code: Select all

/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/deluge/ui/gtkui/torrentview.py:458: GtkWarning: IA__gtk_tree_model_filter_convert_iter_to_child_iter: assertion `filter_iter->stamp == filter->priv->stamp' failed
  child_row = self.treeview.get_model().get_model().convert_iter_to_child_iter(child_row)

The first problem is when I go to close it down, it grays out and crashes
Need more info like debug logs or gdb trace
my ports does not work anymore
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1259923
http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/
http://portforward.com/
I am still getting this status "7", when I first open Deluge.
Please search as this will be fixed for next release
http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... =7&t=36695
I am getting this status "Error: connection timed out" on some of my torrents
I think you mean 'Tracker Status' so this is fairly self explanatory, the tracker is simply not available

How do I find these for you?
my ports does not work anymore
Umm... I have already open my ports, but even then most people have reported Deluge usually works without open ports. Even so, I am using another bit client for the time being, using the same port range and it's working perfectly fine.
Please search as this will be fixed for next release
I see, thanks.

How is it not available one second, and then another it's available. The number of torrent errors are always jumping around, what is causing this?

EnableDelugeLogging, also could you try testing with a clean config.
Even so, I am using another bit client for the time being, using the same port range and it's working perfectly fine.
What version of libtorrent are you using?
How is it not available one second, and then another it's available.
No idea, you could ask your tracker.
The number of torrent errors are always jumping around, what is causing this?
Again please make the distinction between torrent errors and tracker errors.

How do I clean the config file, I can't even find it.

already provided it, but you deleted it from my original post.

This is confusing, it's just label as "Error" but within Status, it's called Tracker Status: "Error: Connection reset by peer"

FAQ: Where does Deluge store its settings/config?
already provided it, but you deleted it from my original post.
Afraid you did not, I checked for that info when editing. If you go to Help->About it will tell you.

I have deleted everything, except the state folder. I'll report back with the findings.

You're right, I didn't include the right information.
Libtorrent: 0.15.6.0

Yes, exactly like that image.

Sorry, for the extremely late reply. The holidays had left me with no personal time at all.
