Hi everyone!
I upgraded my home torrent server (ubuntu maverick) from deluge 1.2.3 to 1.3.1 yesterday (via Ubuntu ppa, had it on hold before).
Everything works fine except that I have no incoming connections even tough the right port is opened (the port test in the preferences confirms it should be working and...well it worked before the upgrade)
I tried an other port already which leads to the same result.
I also tried using UPnP which (as my router confirms) opens the right ports and again should work according to the port test in preferences...but it doesn't.
Client is deluge 1.2.3 on Ubuntu Natty or Windows 7.
Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks.
Port open but "no incomming connections"
Re: Port open but "no incomming connections"
I installed Deluge on Windows 7 because it doesn't come with a torrent client (Ubuntu comes with Transmission GTK) so I can't confirm if this exists from my location on both Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.10 but it definitely exists on Windows 7.
Windows 7 firewall allows deluge (I've tried turning it off as well, to no avail).
Router has UPnP enabled AND forwards bittorrent ports (6881-6889) to the computer running deluge (port in use: 6881).
ISP does not block -any- ports or services, but I have tried ports in the upper ranges (>45000) to no avail (forwarding them as necessary).
"Test Active Port" results in a broken image that then changes to a warning sign after a minute or so.
Status bar reads "no incoming connections" with a no entry sign next to it.
What am I missing, here?

You should not mix versions for client/server, upgrade all at the same time.Client is deluge 1.2.3 on Ubuntu Natty or Windows 7.
You seem to have covered most things, I assume you restarted the router. Maybe try some other application that need port forwarding to see if the same problem persists so you can rule out either the router or Windows 7. Also its always good to check if newer router firmware versions exist.cjbrowne wrote:What am I missing, here?
