execute plugin problem

I'm with feral hosting. The execute plugin was available in a the plugin menu, so I checked it off to enable it. When I then reloaded the deluge UI in my browser and click "Preferences" I see a menu item for execute.

But when I click add, and select the complete event and type in the command, the only button that works is Cancel. If I try to click the Add button in the popup where I typed my command, it seems to have no effect.

Does anybody have any ideas/suggestions as to what I can do to fix this?

I restarted deluged and it is now working.
