My old GeForce2 MX/MX 400 won't work with nvidia's driver on Xorg 1.9, which is included in Ubuntu 10.10, so I'm forced to use the nouveau driver. Since then Deluge's "sidebar" looks strange (see attachment): A few pixels of text and icons seem to be cut off on the left border of the window. Neither changing the sidebars width nor maximizing the window helps. Any ideas what's wrong?

Re: Broken GUI on Ubuntu 10.10 using nouveau graphics driver
I have exactly the same problem - makes the UI unusable as it seems clicking on the items in the sidebar has no effect.
Re: Broken GUI on Ubuntu 10.10 using nouveau graphics driver
Same here, except I don't have a nvidea card so I don't think that's the cause.
Re: Broken GUI on Ubuntu 10.10 using nouveau graphics driver
Deluge worked excellent in Ubuntu 10.04, but after a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.10, I get the very same problem. If it makes any difference, I have an Nvidia Graphic card with the proprietary drivers installed.

I think you'll find this is the same bug as ticket #1349, which has recently been fixed.

Thanks johnnyg and andar for fixing this bug. I look forward to Deluge 1.3.1
