I just installed the version 1.2.3 on windows 7 as a thin client, I have a daemon running on Ubuntu 10.04. There was a previous (self contained) install on this windows box but I don't remember the version. The issue I'm seeing is that I can start the windows client (configured as a thin client connecting to the ubuntu daemon and look to be working ok) and close the window but can't restart it. I have reinstalled the win7 version multiple times but still acts this way. I noticed after closing the window that deluge is not listed as a running application but deluge.exe is listed in the processes listing. If I kill this process I can start deluge no problem. I also noticed that if I go to file>quit the seems to exit properly (no deluge.exe running) and restarts ok. Where as I can circumnavigate this just fine its quirky and I'm the "sys admin" I'm not sure others in the family will cope so well particularly as quit and shutdown daemon is right above quit in the menu
Douh!! I've not long had win7 and I could follow what you were saying, I could not see a deluge icon in the tray. I did not realize Win7 was "helpfully" hiding icons for me
