ok I am trying to install the newest packages from the PPA on karmic 9.10. I have followed this to add the PPA https://launchpad.net/~deluge-team/+archive/ppa as I read the sticky that getdeb is no longer updating the system libraries.
I used to have the 1.1.9 from karmic and then installed getdeb 1.2.0 and now I want the latest 1.2.2 however I get the below when trying to install. (note that I did uninstall deluge from the software center before I tried to download the new version)
and then I get this error
so how do I install this with a fresh install to not get those error messages?
you will need to use the synaptic package manager as there are several components to deluge and you could be encountering version conflicts especially if you have GetDeb as you specified in another post.
