A warning while compiling the svn version

There is a warning which comes up persistently while compiling the svn version, dunno if its meant to be or not :-

cc1plus: warning: command line option "-Wstrict-prototypes" is valid for Ada/C/ObjC but not for C++
This is with latest svn 1258 , adios for now.
Debian Sid, Intel Dual-Core, 512 kbps DL , 64 Kbps UL, deluge-1.3.5, pieces plugin, GNOME 3.4.x
