URGENT ALERT !!!!

AS SOON AS I INSTALL DELUGE (AFTER A FRESH UBUNTU 9.10 INSTALL) GATECRASHER IS TRYING TO ACCESS MY SYSTEM THROUGH PORT 6969 it does not start when transmission is installed i am not a technical man but anybody got any explanation ?

Im pretty certain that Gatecrasher is a windows only trojan so it sounds like a false positive. What port did you set Deluge to use?

Several points:
Firstly you have not told us what version of Deluge
Please refrain from using all caps, it is bad netiquette
Before shouting fire do some research, a simple search on Ubuntu Forum would be a start: here
