webui slow to connect

Hi,

Been awhile since I've touched deluge and it's significantly changed since the last time I used it, pre 1.1.0 I think.

Anyway, the webui was fairly instant to display the password prompt in the older version after typing in the site in the URL bar and hitting go however with 1.2.1 it takes about 6 seconds before it gets to the password prompt.

Is this expected behavior now? What exactly is doing in those 6 seconds before displaying anything? After entering in the password the browsing is instant/snappy, it's just the initial connection if you like.

Also, i'm fairly certain I installed the majority of dependencies to get deluge webui going but does anyone have the apt-get install line with all dependencies required? Tried to google it but couldn't find anything.

are you using IP address or host name, as i notice a delay relating to DNS lookup on the local network.

using hostname, it's a remote server

will try ip address to see if that makes any difference

as i said, it's just the initial delay in getting to the webui then once I enter in the password everything is snappy

edit: even with IP it still takes about 5-6 secs before the password box displays
