Scheduler bypass?

Post by jackobean »

Hi

Is there a way to bypass the scheduler for individual torrents whilst downloading? I'm a utorrent convert and used to use the "Force Start" option to do this. The equivalent "auto managed" in deluge only affects queueing.

Thanks

I would like to know this as well. In addition an overall disable (temporarily) for all torrents for the scheduler plugin would be nice too. Maybe I am just not finding these?

I have been asking this for years since the original plugin, but they have never implemented anything like this to my knowledge. This is the only feature that still bugs me about deluge since i cant understand how it can be a hard thing to implement.

I finally gave up on waiting(2 years since i started using this) on this feature and moved to Transmission. It doesn't have the same polish as Deluge as far as the GUI and web interface (not that its unusable or anything just not as nice looking) but is does do scheduler out of the box and with 2 remote addons 1 for Windows and 1 for Linux I can bypass the speed restriction per torrent.

With the default Web UI I can easily enable/disable the scheduler and also edit the scheduler settings. I even found a handy S60 app to check/add/remove etc my torrents while i am on the move.
