[solved] deluge 1.2.0 doesn't exit cleanly to the cli

I'm running deluged and deluge with a web interface on a gentoo linux system in order to access deluge from a Mac. If I, in addition, run deluge from the cli (on the linux system) I get the gui. Closing the gui does not return control to the cli. Instead Ctrl-C is required accomplish this. Why?

I believe this bug was fixed in svn a couple days ago.

@gazpachoking: if you're referring to http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/changeset/6099 then that was for the console UI.
However, I believe seron is referring to running the GTK UI from a terminal.

@seron: could you run it with debug logging enabled (deluge -L debug) and see where it gets stuck when shutting down?

I noticed that it does exit cleanly if I close it by using the deluge icon in the tray. Only when closing the window using the x does it not exit cleanly. I use xfce 4.6.1 if that is of any help.

Do you have "Minimize to tray on close" enabled? (Preferences->Interface, System Tray)
That would explain why it doesn't shutdown when you close the window.

Ahhh. That was it! I didn't see that setting, and didn't notice the deluge icon still in the tray (my desktop is mostly blue and grey tones).
