Re: Annoying new feature?
tried svn today - but the problem remains

Re: Annoying new feature?
After you shutdown deluge, check the ~/.config/deluge/torrentfiles directory for .fastresume files for the torrents that are loaded in your session. If the fastresume files are not there, then there is a problem still.
I'll do some more testing myself.

now i tried deluge 0.5.84 on ubuntu hardy i386: i share ~70 torrents, but there is only one .fastresume-file which was created when i added a new torrent today. the problem remains.
Re: Annoying new feature?
did you remove and readd the "old" torrents?

Re: Annoying new feature?
i just fixed this in svn for those who want the fix now...it'll be in our next release for those who can/wanna wait.
Re: Annoying new feature?
Please, Please, Please release the new version ASAP...This issue has plagued my twice already today alone (i think from crashes caused by my internet connection dying for a minute, but i'll post about that "bug" in another thread)...and on my system it's taken about 3-4 hours each time to check all of the torrents. Also, I know i could build the SVN, but umm...I've probably tried to build the SVN 3 times now on 2 different systems and it takes well over a hour to build (note: I've never completed a SVN build, i always stop it after about an hour)...and i know, you might be saying: "Oh, well, he must have an ancient computer"...No...It's brand new...dual, quad-core 3.2GhZ Xeon CPU's on one system and a 3GhZ E8400 Core 2 duo on another.markybob wrote:i just fixed this in svn for those who want the fix now...it'll be in our next release for those who can/wanna wait.
Re: Annoying new feature?
Well, and I'm probably too stupid for building the SVN on my windows machine. Maybe I should try on kubuntu...but that's no challenge

Re: Annoying new feature?
Thanks. When is the next release scheduled for ?markybob wrote:i just fixed this in svn for those who want the fix now...it'll be in our next release for those who can/wanna wait.
Re: Annoying new feature?
instead of waiting for the new version to come out, how about you guys who have this problem downgrade to the previous version that works fine? Isn't that better than keep on pestering the developer for releasing new version before testing them correctly?
