Encoding of files - utf-8

Post by chat-loupe »

Hi every one,

I'm trying to migrate from ktorrent but I have a problem with encoding of files.

When I add a torrent I already had downloaded, deluge check the files and folders but it stop at some point and start downloading again because of bad encoding of files.

The torrent is this one :
http://www.bakabt.com/download/10634/12 ... ad.torrent
There's a folder named "Singing Heart² Collection" but deluge create a folder with a name like "Singing Heart² Collection".

I think my system is using utf-8, it's Mandriva Linux 2010.0.

$ locale
LANG=fr_FR
LC_CTYPE=fr_FR
LC_NUMERIC=fr_FR
LC_TIME=fr_FR
LC_COLLATE=fr_FR
LC_MONETARY=fr_FR
LC_MESSAGES=fr_FR
LC_PAPER=fr_FR
LC_NAME=fr_FR
LC_ADDRESS=fr_FR
LC_TELEPHONE=fr_FR
LC_MEASUREMENT=fr_FR
LC_IDENTIFICATION=fr_FR
LC_ALL=

Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately the torrent has been improperly encoded and did not follow the bittorrent spec. This will not work as expected.
