I am trying to set deluge to run as full allocation as it does not work currently in the webui. I only uses webui.
So, I looked into the core.conf file and found a setting for compact allocation. I changed it from :
"compact_allocation": true,
to
"compact_allocation": false,
Then I started deluge again but webui is still showing compact. I still am unable to change priority for individual files in torrent. Especially changing to do not download. It keeps reverting back to normal priority.
Anyway to fix this??
1.2.0rc2 full allocation setting
Re: 1.2.0rc2 full allocation setting
can I know when will full allocation problem be fixed?
I am still unable to enable it using RC3 and I don't see it being projected to fixed in RC4.
Please fix this as it is very important feature.

Re: 1.2.0rc2 full allocation setting
It's working fine for me, so it's hard to fix a bug when you don't know how to reproduce it.
What browser are you using. What OS are you running on?

Re: 1.2.0rc2 full allocation setting
To those having problem changing to full allocation using webui, you can change it using deluge-console.
1) Go to your ssh and type deluge-console
2) in the console, type config -set compact-allocation false
3) then type quit or exit to quit the console
4) restart your deluge daemon and deluge webui
5) remove all torrents and add them back again. Don't worry, the partial downloaded torrent will be rechecked and allocated
Hope this works for you guys.

Re: 1.2.0rc2 full allocation setting
got happy too early..
compact_allocation went back to True for no reason. Maybe due to a few restart of the daemon I made after changing other stuffs in the config.
I have to set it back to False again. Let's see if it stick if I do not restart the daemon.

Re: 1.2.0rc2 full allocation setting
Me too have this compact allocation being true just about no matter what I do...
I am using mainly webui, deluged and such resides on mine headless server...
No matter what I try to do it will stay true (meaning no full allocation)... Also if I try to select Full allocation at webgui it looks like both selections have been selected, yet if I close preferences and reopen it, compact allocation it is again...
Server: ubuntu 9.10 amd64, Deluged + deluge-web 1.2.0-rc3
"user end" tested: ubuntu 9.10 with Opera 10 and Firefox 3.5.4, no diffirence, same glitches on both...
With Deluge-GTK I was able to choose full allocation and set directories, but as soon as I opened deluge webui page afain compact allocation was used and directory settings grayed out...
ADD: It seems that after setting full allocation and diffirent directiories with gtkui they still stays ON, even if webui shows otherwise...
