Can't add torrents via web ui in 1.2-rc1

Post by yochaigal »

Hello. I searched the forums/google first, and have been unable to find this problem spoken of elsewhere, strangely. Perhaps I am searching incorrectly.

Essentially I am unable to add new torrents via the web interface, neither a URL of a torrent or an actual file. What happens is:

I log on to the web interface. I make sure the daemon is connected (ie I check the connection manager, I look at my existing torrents added locally, and I check the preferences pane). I click "Add" and then input either a URL or upload a file. I click "Add" and nothing happens. I cannot see any problem in debug mode or in the logs, and I CAN add torrents using the GTK UI. I can also manipulate torrents I already added in the GTK interface.
I am running Ubuntu 9.0, using the deluge PPA. I have tried from SVN and the problem remains. I have also deleted my ~/.config/deluge folder each time.

Any ideas? Once this web ui works, i can use transdroid on my android phone! Until then, I'm stuck in the little leagues with Transmission!!!!

Thanks....

I did try this once and it did not work as well. I thought maybe this was due to me not adding the stuffs in the cookies section. I did not bother to find out more as I prefer adding using from FILE. Actually I prefer adding from automatic add torrent folder but that is not working under webui for now unless manually tinkering with the config files.

Well, seems like this is another problem in webui.

Problem is fixed.
The problem went away with rc-2, but I had to do aptitude purge deluge on my ubuntu box as the web ui was trying to connect to a daemon from an older version (rc-1).

Thanks!
