Deluge 1.1.9 crashes on start in Ubuntu 9.04

Deluge was working just fine and now all the sudden it crashes anytime i try to start it. I've searched the forums and google as well and cannot find any answers.

Can anybody help?

i ended up fixing it by going back to deluge 1.1.6 using the following thread:

http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... 5&start=10

it seems to be a bug or something?
