I like this plugin, and it works fine for me right now. But I am really wanting to replace the default version of FlexRSS with the newer version I see mentioned in another thread (the "output" section has been added). Can I simply take the source from the .bz2 file and replace the contents of the .egg file to update it? Just trying to get the updated .egg...

Thx.

can this do file type filtering? where it downloads only a certain encoding of tv shows such as xvid and not x264.

you can use regex to specify the type of file to download.

so I could never get the "official" flexrss to generate an egg. There's no setup.py. I tried dist_egg on the plugin.py. no luck.

I got this one working 'cause there was an egg included. My main question/problem is this: Is there no way to specify output folders? What about output folders with regex? Getting the links seems like half the battle. Organizing them seems just as important if you're trying to automate things.

pls help me:
* I open the prefrences in deluge
* I set categories to flexRSS
* I click the open FlesRSS button
* in the FlexRSS config window I set a new feed to http://www.mininova.org/rss.xml with interval 900
* I click the filter tab
* I give a name and choose TV show
* In the feed I see the mininova feed
* in the patterns I put: *Highlights*
the test gives: Doesnt match

how can I get it to work?

niv,

I wrote some filtering methodologies on page 7 of this topic for television shows. It's a pretty simple plugin to use, once you understand the filtering syntax.

I hope that this awesome plugin runs once the developers have a release candidate for Deluge 1.2.0 that is ready for prime time.

FlexRSS Options -> Feeds Tab, select the feed you want to configure and set the desired Update Interval (I guess in milliseconds) just below the feed's URL
