thank you, Cas, for helping me track this down. the command for the main menu icon was "deluge" when the launcher on the panel was "deluge-gtk". i now use the deluge-gtk command and it starts up the new version 1.3.1, and remembers the column width. problem: solved! :D :D :D

sorry, i accidentally gave you false information; the Help >> About window in deluge says 1.3.0, but synaptic lists it as 1.3.1-2~karmic~ppa1.

is there a more recent version that i should try?

hi. i'm using Deluge 1.3.0 (libtorrent 0.14.10.0) on GNU/Linux's xubuntu 9.10 (karmic). problem is the "Name" column width is not remembered or saved upon restarting deluge. for example if a torrent has a very long name, the column will be fully stretched, pushing all other columns over to...
