deluge 1.3.3 not working on localhost
hello, most of the time I'm using the deluge windows client to control a linux-daemon in the same local network. that's all working fine. however, when I try to use the windows-daemon as well, the following happens: - I bring up the connection manager (CM) and start the localhost daemen, a blank ter...

Re: 1.2.0 still crashing on ubuntu hardy
after some extensive debugging session with the incredibly nice help of a knowledgable dev, a solution for hardy has been found. the hardy version of "mako" caused the problems. launchpad does now include an updated version of mako. so you need launchpad in your sources.list and then do &q...

1.2.0 still crashing on ubuntu hardy
i was happy to see that launchpad finally made the 1.2.0 binaries available for all ubuntus (including hardy). so with launchpad in my sources.list i installed "deluge" via apt-get (no synaptic, the server runs without graphics) and it went down without any error message. i could fire up &...

Re: 1.2.0 rc3 hardy, no connection between deluged and webui
you should have stayed with 1.1.9 i've made the same mistake, upgraded from 1.1.9 to 1.2.0 rc3 on hardy and now deluge is broken and i can't go back to 1.1.9. i've posted on this forum too, but there was no help. it seems that 1.2.0 rc3 is not working on hardy when using binaries. only way to make i...

Re: Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) - not supported?
i've described the errors in the other thread http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?t=26755 a solution would be if someone could re-puplish the complete 1.1.9 package. this was working on my hardy before, but it's not available anymore. if only someone could get the launchpad people to go ba...

Re: rc3: ui not starting on ubuntu 8.04 (hardy)
ok, here's a few more things: 1) in order to manually install the files from getdeb with aptitude install, you also need to have launchpad-for-hardy activated in the sources.list. it seems this is necessary to resolve some otherwise unresolvable dependencies. 2) i've tried to install deluge-webui fr...

Re: rc3: ui not starting on ubuntu 8.04 (hardy)
thanks alot for the statement. i guess i won't go to the troubles of compiling stuff myself to resolve dependencies. i'd much rather go back to 1.1.9 which was working nicely before. BUT: this doesnt work either. i grabbed those from getdeb deluge-torrent_1.1.9-1~getdeb1_i386.deb deluge-common_1.1.9...
