Deluge/Debian lenny

Now I know for sure I had ver 1.1.2 working on my lenny box but it seems after some lenny updates I've been kicked back to 0.5.9.3 as this is the "stable" ver listed in my synaptic package manager. I don't use Deluge every day and so really didn't notice right away that 1.1.2 no longer wor...

Re: Ubuntu 7.10 Install Crashes on Add Torrent

I've left my bug report on #deluge-IRC, the devs are pretty much always there as they're here on the forum. I'm hoping once they figure out what's the problem, it'll be solved.

Re: Ubuntu 7.10 Install Crashes on Add Torrent

Just upgraded 2 ubuntu 7.10 boxes to 0.5.8.8 and both crash when I try to add torrent. I had to use the "rm ~/.config/deluge/persistent.state" command to get Deluge to start but I've upgraded many times before(with and without using that command)and never lost torrents or been unable to ad...

Re: Dbus Errors

Thanks, the work around launches deluge. I have to use 0.5.0 on this etch box. I used the directions from your FAQs on building from SVN so I just thought it was used to install, like apt would, hey I don't know. I originally had the backported debian package, all fine then something happened to my ...

Re: Info Deluge Shows

Thanks for your reply(markybob), I see you guys on IRC, I know you're busy continuing development of this great program. I certainly meant no slight against anyone on IRC, I'm there pretty much also(up365), trying to pick up any info I can, it's that I did kinda loose patience after asking what I th...

Re: Info Deluge Shows

Thank you for a quick and informative response. I just don't like to use programs without some basic understanding, I want to know. The guys who designed this program are great and very busy, I understand they may not be so inclined to answer my questions on IRC, where I 1st tried. So thanks again. :D

Info Deluge Shows

Kind of new to P2P and I'd like some questions answered to see if I'm reading the info in the Deluge columns correctly. 1) The Avail. column, if the number there is 0.9xx does that mean 100% of the DL is not available ? 2) Unless someone with 100%, seeds, then are we all stuck at below 100% ? 3) So ...

Re: Big appreciation

Just heard about deluge in the ubuntu forums, I installed the .deb package and have it up and running. Easier to install than transmission which I also use, kinda comparing them now. Thank you for deluge, seems to be a great program.
