I'm new to Deluge, trying to DL directly to external USB drive, but Deluge just give me the option to DL to Downloads folder on OS HD...
I'm using Linux Mint, and I can't even point to other internal HDs...
I can´t even locate the /media folder, where Mint mount external media...
Is there a way to point Deluge to various different download destinations?
thanks!
Downloading to External HDDs on Linux Mint
Re: Downloading to External HDDs on Linux Mint
If you add it to the dropdown menu you can just select it quickly...
Just type in whatever path, assuming its valid and Deluge has permission to it, and click add. It will appear when you hit the arrow and you can just double click it to quickly fill it in.
Re: Downloading to External HDDs on Linux Mint
Hello !
I use Linux Mint as well.
At the top of the interface you have a little cog.
If you click on it you see a menu, and it is called "preferences".
The second option in the menu from the top is called "downloads".
If you click on "downloads", you will see tree options:
Download to:
Move completed to:
Copy .torrent files to:
What i do is that i have an external drive (sata, not usb), and i created a folder called "deluge torrents".
This new folder contains three folders representing the three options mentionned above.
For me it works.
