When I try to install deluge by deb package it whines about missing libs much like the old school rpm would & I have to go hunt down the dependencies myself (again just like the with the old school rpm).

If I wanted the trouble with hunting down the missing libs I would have downloaded the source .

or you could've double-clicked on the deb, which would've opened synaptic, and gotten all of the dependencies for you.

I get the same problems when I try to install when I looked in synaptic for the dependencies they were not all there this may be down to me using Mepis 7 I did notice that it wanted newer packages than that list in synaptic.

Can anyone help with a deb for Mepis 7 Please
Mepis7 uses debian etch
