I have very often Deluge crashes on my Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon.
I like Deluge and I am not want to change it on some else client.
How I can help fix that problem?
P.S.: sorry for my English :[

what version of deluge are you using?
also if you could run deluge from terminal and then post any error messages it displays when it crashes - that would be great.

I use latest Deluge build (0.5.8RC2).
As I already said, I have often Deluge crashes and I think, that happens at different errors.
For example, I have crash with
Code: Select all
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'libtorrent::invalid_handle'
what(): invalid torrent handle used
Aborted
then I try stop current torrent.

An answer for raii :
- have you config the option "Automatic Download" in yours preferences ?
I've same problem, and i've used two solutions :
-1- edit the file .config/deluge/prefs.state, at the line 73, replace by your home directory in simple quote -
this solution has planted deluge...
or
-2- delete the directory .config/deluge on your home directory, and restart deluge.
my two cents
