Ubuntu install:Unsatisfiable depend. 'libboost-date-time'

When trying to install from the latest ubuntu deb, version .9.09, the deb installer says that I have an unsatisfiable dependency in that it can't find "libboost-date-time1.34.1". I checked synaptic, and this exact package showed up as already installed. Apparently the version of the package is slightly different? Synaptic says that my installed version is "1.34.1-4ubuntu3", which could be confusing the deb installer in that it wants exactly 1.34.1. I didn't encounter this problem when installing .9.08.

Are you trying to install the correct .deb? Sometimes people download the wrong one and this is typically the type of error they encounter.

Whoops!
Sorry about that, I wasn't even paying attention and grabbed the intrepid instead of hardy. I didn't even think of looking for that as the error message wasn't indicative of having the wrong package.
