Cannot change file location defaults

Hi,

I'm trying to change the default file locations under Preferences -> Downloads -> Folders for partially downloaded files, completed files, and torrent files, etc. I can successfully change them, and everything appears to be fine. When I exit and reboot then open preferences again, the folders I selected, are still set in the preferences dialog.

The problem is that deluge seems to disregard them completely. Torrents are saved in the default locations anyways (my home folder). I checked in core.conf and the values seem to be set correctly, so I'm not sure why deluge is not using them.

I'm on Arch Linux with KDE 4.1 installed and using the latest deluge-svn package, version: Deluge 1.1.0-devr3806, however I upraged to this version because the other version I had (0.5.x I think) had the same problem.

This seems like a silly thing, and I have no idea why it's not working as it should, but this really makes deluge almost unusable for me (I don't want all of my torrents in random folders in my home directory).

Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

What about trying one of the RC versions?

What about trying one of the RC versions?
I thought about that, unfortunately I don't think Arch will update their official Deluge package until the final release comes out. I tried the RC8 package in the user repository (AUR) and unfortunately it would not compile, for whatever reason.

I figured that since I had this problem with the older version .5.x, and also with the latest cutting edge svn version, the release candidate would be no different, but I could be wrong.

I'll wait for the final release to come, and try it again. Thanks for the response!
