hi
i am using ubuntu linux 7.10 "gutsy gibbon".
i use deluge for torrents.deluge is showing all my ports as 'closed'.ports even after 6889 are being shown as 'closed'.All random ports selected by deluge are being shown as closed.
due to this i am getting download speed of about 8 Kb/s instead of an average 30 Kb/s as i have a 256kbps connection. How do i open ports so that i can use an open port to get good download speeds ?
Kindly Please help me.I am a new user to linux and dont know much about linux.
my PC - [if it helps]
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ [1.4 Ghz]
Ubuntu 7.10
512 MB RAM
I am using a wireless connection to surf the net.my wireless pci adapter is 'NETGEAR WG311 v3'.
Nvidia GForce 4 MX 440 64 MB
Any help would be appreciated.
