cant run any versions after DLing UPDATE Version

downloaded the newest version today and it will not give me any GUI and doesnt appear to be running. I've uninstalled and tried many older versions. Any suggestions or link to the last know version?

what version were you running before the update?
if it was a 0.5 version, you'll have to delete your preferences folder.

i;ve got 5.9.3 running now, I downgraded after the 9.07 & newest 9.08 but I'm getting C++ Error saying problems has asked to terminate runtime in an unusual way.

that's unfortunately a known issue for that version which doesn't have a fix.
if you upgrade to the latest make sure you uninstall your current version (and delete your preferences folder).
Also I should point out that the latest RCs don't work in Vista x64 (this will be fixed very shortly).
