Feature request: Don't remove all the torrents with 1.0

I read there is a script out there that lets you "upgrade" your torrents so that is is compatible with 1.0. Can you please make this work by default when upgrading to 1.0 for a non-technical for user so that I won't have to add my 46 active torrents again?

The script didn't even work for me, in Vista.
From what I heard all it does is the same thing you can do yourself, which would be to go to the "torrentfiles" folder and add them into the new deluge. It doesn't keep track of what you've shared so far or downloaded and it would still have to hash check them all upon adding. Make sure you have the same download directory set as the old deluge or else it'll start downloading all over in a different location.

If that is the case that you want to keep track of how much you've shared, probably better to finish sharing with the old one before switching to the new one.

Yes, but I add torrents continiously. I would then need a middle man to handle all my temporary torrents. It's not very easy seeding on private sites because it's like a 10:1 ratio between seeders and leechers so I spend a lot of time trying to seed. =/

I have added this in 1.0.0_RC.. It doesn't carry over all the settings, but I think it will be enough.

Does it remember what torrents were before that, and what ratio they had?
