Deluge Forum

Not sure what happened. Couldn't start Deluge so I tried to reinstall, but I got an error. Then I was told there is a new version.
I got that and tried to install. Got a message saying it couldn't install the previous version. The new version wont install. There is an error opening file for writing C:\ProgramFiles\Deluge\libexpat.dll

I have gone to add/remove and its not there. In the C drive there is a folder for Deluge.

How can I get rid of the old version? (I have XP)

i have the same problem too. but it was solved by ending the process dbus-daemon.exe in your task manager.
try it.

It wasn't in the task manger. It wasn't seen despite being on the C drive. I deleted all the files that weren't write protected. I was able to install the new version after a reboot.
