In the TorrentPeers plugin, it shows country flags, but not names. Most of us don't have the world's flags memorized or can tell from the small icons. It would be great if there was an extra tab for country names.

I would like this feature, but I dont think it will look nice, I dont have all flags memorized either, but 90% of the flags are from the same 20 or so countries... And why would you need to find out what country is the seed uploading from ?

don't see how useful this would be, I don't see many people wanting this, if you're just curious about a ip just do a whois or I have this nice little app called geoiplookup that can tell you where it's from

libsexy has a gtktreeview that supports per-cell tooltips, IIRC.

I think its a stupid plugin, too, but whatever.

I don't care enough to go do a whois on each of my peers. I agree that it's kind of a useless plugin. I only go check my peers' country for the "gee-whiz" factor. It's interesting to know who listens to certain types of music around the world. I think a tooltip would be cool

I registered here to suggest this feature, but found this here already. I second the recommendation of a mouseover "tooltip" on each flag. If that is not possible a Country column would be nice.
