Is there a way to make deluge prevent the computer to suspend, when deluge is running and downloading?

nope. not directly from within deluge, at least. i remember hearing about a daemon that would do this, though. you tell it which applications you want it to watch for and if they're running it wont let powersave kick in. cant remember what it was called...google is your friend

Ok, it was not that solution I was looking for

I've hacked together a small plugin to do this.
Extract the file in ~/.config/deluge/plugins
Now start deluge and activate the Prevent Suspend plugin
