WebUI for the latest (0.9.04)

How do I use the WebUI in 0.9.04? There was all this talk about how good it was going to be. Now I installed it (the official, not the RC) and all my torrents dissapeared (like 20), and I don't know how much they have completed and many of them needed seeding. I also tried adding them again, storing them in the same directory as I used to but it decided I should download them all over again.

Anyway, here is my question. My WebUI (I only used the webUI) has dissapeared as well. How do I run it? I can't find it under plugins again.

0.9.04 is the RC :P

the settings of the old branch (0.5) aren't compatible with the latest version of deluge.
there's a script here to port your torrent froms 0.5 to the latest though.

in 0.9.04 the core and the ui have been separated.
this means that you can run deluge without needing to have X (i.e. without needing a display).
Web ui is no longer a plugin but a type of ui.
to run it type

Code: Select all

deluge -u web

Oh, I thought you promoted 1.0 in the front page but it didn't say RC in the filename or at the download section so I misunderstood. Where can I download the stable verison? If I install that over 0.9.4, can I get my old config and my active torrents back?

you can get the latest stable version from: http://download.deluge-torrent.org/
the latest stable version is 0.5.9.4.
if you install that you should get all your old config and torrents back.

apt-get remove deluge-torrent
