For Deluge do I need just a TCP port or both TCP and UDP? Can anyone recommend a good port number to choose?

Thanks

Any port or range or ports between 10000 and 60000. Just TCP is fine. See http://portforward.com/ for specific info on your router.

OK, thanks. I seem to be suffering from port blocking, thus my question. Tried 45153 upwards with no joy - major slowdowns with my new ISP whereas fine before.

When you click the "Test Active Port" under Preferences>Network. Does it report success? Also make sure that the "Active Port:" displays one of the port(s) you've chosen.

Then make sure Encryption both Inbound and Outbound are enabled. Level: Either and Encrypt entire stream is checked. These are the default settings, but its always good to make sure they haven't been changed.

OK, all is working with RC3, but I'm getting terrible download speeds. Using Port 49166 and it tests fine. Encryption and all other defaults are checked. It's a 'good quality' torrent so this shouldn't be happening. Any ideas?
