Deluge Forum

I downloaded deluge yesterday and was very much liking it, until my computer crashed. Needless to say I was annoyed when after the reboot, deluge would refuse to open. I start deluge.exe, dbus-daemon-deluge.exe start, but then deluge.exe terminates with no error message. I've tried deleting the persistent.state file, as well as uninstalling deluge, deleting it's program folder, then reinstalling deluge. Neither attempt worked. In any case, error reported.

I've just now found, and fixed, some problems with my external hard drive. Upon finishing, I restarted my computer and deluge was working fine, so my guess is that the hd problems caused the problem with deluge somehow. Problem is solved.

My external drive's partition was corrupted today and the same problem repeated itself. I am pretty well convinced now that if deluge is set to save files on a drive that doesn't exist it kills itself such as the problem I've been having.
