I'm seeing some odd behavior in the save window. I'll click on a link for a torrent, get a popup (in Ubuntu Feisty), asking me if I wont to open the file with Deluge, I hit yes, and then the save window will open to the folder I last downloaded a file into. Everything's okay up to there. But then when I hit "OK" nothing happens. The "OK" button looks as if it's been depressed but the window just stays open and the file never starts downloading. I can click on the "OK" button endlessly and it's as if it doesn't do anything. This doesn't always happen, but probably about 50% of the time.

Sometimes if I copy the link location and start the torrent by selecting "add URL" in the Deluge File Menu that solves the problem, but sometimes I get the same weird results that way too. Another time I solved the problem by navigating away from my download folder, in the save window, to a different partition and then back to the download folder.

Is anybody else seeing this? Any solution?

I'm running 0.5.6.2, under Feisty.

yes, i've seen this. and no, i dont think there's a solution. it's really a gtk problem, and unfortunately we cant do anything about that. believe me, i wish i didnt have to navigate away from the folder i want to select. it's stupid and annoying. as long as gtk has that problem, though, so will we. unless someone smarter than i figures out a way around this...which is possible

Thanks for the confirmation on the problem. I'm confused though. I don't see this behavior in any other program. So why is it clear that it's not a problem with Deluge?
