Post by decaler »

hi all ..
so i get a error when using deluge...
So first , the installation is ok ... can start "Deluge" without error , or problem ...
But when adding a torrent i get this error
microsoft visual c++ runtime library

runtime error!

program : c:/program files/deluge/deluge.exe

this application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. please contact the application's support team for more information.
And when i press ok .. deluge is automaticly closed...
Can someone help me?^^ thx

I get this error when trying to start Deluge when Azureus is open.
If I close Azureus, Deluge will work without error.
Perhaps it's because I've set them both on using the same port.
Make sure the port you're using is not used by another applikation

well, i think i have a temporarily solution.. open the torrent with deluge and then manually select the folder you want to, works for me.. sometimes fails but like i say, temporarily solution.

i believe this has something to do if you have two torrent clients running at the same time and they both are trying to use the same port.

try exiting all torrent clients and run deluge alone. If necessary, run them on different ports. That does it for me.
