HELP with Cent OS Install!! Server environment

I am trying to install this on a Cent Box, in a server environment, and it is giving me GTK errors, is there a way to run it as a daemon with no GUI? 
you can't run 0.5 as a daemon, however you can with 0.6 which hasn't been officially released yet.
there are however nightly builds available for the daring
