Deluge 0.5.6.1 won't quit on Gutsy

Hi,

thanks to the repos, Deluge was just updated to 0.5.6.1. But:

When I press "File|Exit" in the menu, nothing happens. The app freezes. The menu stays open. So, Deluge needs to killed (forced). The are currently no torrents in the list.

Before resetting my config, I just wanted to know, if there were any other solutions.

No solution, but I do have the same problem. And I've got a few torrents in my list.

The funny thing is that the change log says
Fix shutdown hang
instead of
Added shutdown hang
Also running Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy here, AMD64 version.

Same story here. Running Ubuntu 7.10 x86 and Deluge 0.5.6.1
(auto-updated via
I run the Compiz Fusion desktop. Upon attempting to exit Deluge
via File->Exit, it gets stuck and its window is darkened (a Compiz
feature, indicating a somehow "stuck" application.)

The only way to kill it is to click on the "close" button (@ top-right),
get a dialog saying that Deluge is not responding and click on the button
labeled "Force Quit".

Note that when, subsequently, I attempt to reload it, it does not
show its window immediately. It takes a few seconds before it appears.
It _is_ being loaded though, as the CPU load indicator shows a heavy
load (it is caused by Deluge loading the blocklist, even though it doesn't
show on screen for a few seconds.)

I just read that this was solved in the latest release. Great!
