Wont stop sequential downloading

Greetings all running Deluge 2.0.3

Downloading a season of a tv show and noticed deluge is downloading the episodes in sequence i dont like this. In preferences sub option download the sequential download option is unticked and it still downloading in sequence

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Can you verify that it also is visible in the config file that it indeed is turned off and also deluged has been restarted? If possible maybe even try the latest version of Deluge.

Use ltConfig to set suggest_mode to 1, your client will suggest what pieces it needs.

If the torrent is new and the original seeder is the only seeder, then it might be a case where he is only serving pieces sequentially in order to maintain as much upload as he can. If he serves random pieces across peers, then those peers can then serve them to other peers, instead of him getting all of the upload he can.
